This sculptural grouping of heavy white spheres has an impressive tactile quality as well as a beautiful visual aesthetic. Light and shadow wrap around silky smooth surfaces that, upon close inspection, reveal maker’s marks from the sculptor’s tools. Measuring between 2.5 and 16 cm, they are significantly heavy and cold in the hand. Each piece is built individually by sculptor Laurie Poast in a luxurious composite of plaster and ceramic.
